LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES
April 2019:
Under the hood code updates to further tweak performance have been done. Along with the mySQL and PHP version upgrades the site should have noticeably improved performance. All Macs now also show the following information: Model Number, SMC version and Order Number.

We're working to find more companies to show price quotes on search results. A little competition will keep everyone on their toes and gives you the best available option!

March 2019:
The site is now also accessible over https! A lot of older machines still access this site so it is not enabled by default. To access the secure version of the site though, simply type "https://" infront of the address or click here. Also, don't forget to adjust your bookmarks.

Additionally, Google Chrome browsers will be automatically redirected to the https version of the site as Google is causing such a stink now about sites that are not encrypted. Users get fearmongered into believing the site may be hacked by attackers while in fact we choose to not load htps by default to accomodate traffic from older machines. *sigh*

Our web host has been busy upgrading our server for the last 3 days. After repeated inquiries for updates they finally let us know today that there were complications during the upgrade process. This caused the process to abort and now it has to be restarted and done manually. No ETA was provided. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope this upgrade is done soon so we can start the code review process. Account holders can email us with the serial numbers they’d like to look up and we will send back the specs for the models that are currently supported. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate all the support emails we have received so far expressing concern and offering to help out!

Numbers don't lie. Users lookup laptop info 3x more than desktop info and 5x more than iOS info. With this in mind we will focus on expanding the laptop specs and adding more models as fast as we can. Of course desktops and iOS will not be forgotten (though we're way behind on iOS device support), those will get all of our attention once the laptop data has been updated.
